Global Health: Challenges and Solutions

On 11–13 May 2023, Aarhus University hosts this year's MatchPoints conference called Global Health: Challenges and Solutions. Registration is open.

How can we improve the mental health of the world’s populations? What role does mistrust in the health authorities play in the spread of infectious disease? How can we learn from each other’s approaches to health – across the globe? These are some of the compelling questions that will be addressed at this year’s MatchPoints conference at Aarhus University. The conference is organised by the Circle U. Knowledge Hub for Global Health, but the interdisciplinary nature of the topics means that it will be relevant for researchers from other areas as well.

The conference features international keynote speakers, and participants will be able to dive into four different academic tracks:

  • Mental health conditions and chronic disease
  • Pandemics
  • Sustainability and health
  • Global health inequality

NB: Aarhus University is waiving the fee for researchers from Circle U. institutions. If you want to take advantage of this offer, do not register via the website, but sign up by emailing Tobias Frandsen (tojf@au.dk) who will provide you with a personal registration link. Deadline for registration is 1 May.
